• Cardio Fitness Equipment

   

   

  Cardio Equipment Features Recumbent Bikes, AMT cross trainers, Treadmills, Elipticals, Body Master and Precor Equipment.

• Child Watch

  

   

   The Baranco Clark Child Watch provides a fun, safe, and structured environment for your child while you exercise. Our experienced and dedicated staff interact with your child following a schedule of facilitated activities. These activities include arts & crafts, singing, dancing, playing, reading, story time, and other fun and interesting activities. This service is included in your membership. Parents must remain in the YMCA facility while using this service.

  Ages: six weeks to 12 years

  M - F      3pm-7pm

• Strength Training Room

  

   

  Totaling 1100 square foot strenth training room offers a variety of machines to work every muscle in your body. Equipment includes Precor, Body Master, Free Weights, Bench Press, and More!

• Gymnasium

   

   

  This 9,000 square foot gymnasium is used for a variety of activities including, adult and youth basketball, cheerleading, childcare activities and more!

• Community Room

  This 800 square foot room is used for a variety of activites from afterschool care, senior citizens social time, bible study, meals on wheels, games and activities.

• Conference Room

  This 600 square foot room is used for a variety of activities such as, meetings, childcare activities and other indoor programs.

• Showers and Locker Rooms

   

   Lockers are provided, but members should bring thier own locks. Please remember, lockers are cleaned out nightly, so please don't leave your belongings in overnight! Lockers are free to members and guests. Must be 18 and older to enter Adult Locker Rooms.

• Computer Lab

  

  Thanks to the generosity of BP we now have a 15 station computer lab with 10 wireless notebooks and 5 desktop computers complete with Wi-Fi internet service.

• Solar Pavilion

  

  This outdoor classroom was built through a collaborative effort of Center for Planning Excellence (CPEX) the LSU School of Architecture and Baton Rouge Community College’s Construction Education program, with major funding from the Huey and Angelina Wilson Foundation.  The pavilion, as the first in the community to utilize solar power, serves as a prototype for continued community and educational relationships and showcase green building techniques to be mirrored in future community construction.
