• Child Watch

  

   The Charles W. Lamr Child Watch provides a fun, safe, and structured environment for your child while you exercise. Our experienced and dedicated staff interact with your child following a schedule of facilitated activities. These activities include arts & crafts, singing, dancing, playing, reading, story time, and other fun and interesting activities. This service is included in your membership. Parents must remain in the YMCA facility while using this service.

  Hours:

  The Child Watch is open from 10am - 1pm weekday
  mornings and from 5:00pm - 8:00pm evenings.
  Saturday hours are from 9am - 11am.

• Spin Studio

  

  Our stadium presentation spin studio features 19 Star Trac NXT bikes.  Theater lighting and video projection truly enhance this workout experience.

• Cardio Area-downstairs

  

  Our downstairs cardio area features 12 Star Trac treadmills, 7 Precor elliptical machines, 3 Precor Adaptive Motion Trainers, and 2 Nautilus Stepmills.

• Front Entry

  

  The downtown Charles W. Lamar, Jr. branch is located on the corner of North and Third Street.  Members park free in the State’s LaSalle Garage for up to 2 ½ hours.  Garage entry is through the Main Street right side gate.

• Cardio Area-Upstairs

  

  The south area upstairs features steppers, upright and recumbent bikes and a rowing machine.

   Upstairs Cardio Area North

  The north area upstairs features 6 more Star Trac Treadmills and three more Precor elliptical machines.

• Strength Area

  

  Our free weight area has numerous benches and an ample supply of plates.  It also features a complete set of dumbbells from 15 to 100 pounds.

• Strength Area

  

  Our downstairs area provides a complete body workout and features more than 20 pieces of Cybex strength equipment.

• Group Exercise Room

  

  Currently, twenty five classes per week are held in our spacious aerobics studio.  When the area is not being used for classes, members are welcome to enjoy the studio for their own wide variety of exercises.

  This rack is capable of handling 800LB squats and bench presses.  are heavy duty racks that are fully customizable and expandable.  We have developed a wide range of kits and accessories to further customize your system.  These include j-cups, safety arms, plate storage, dip stations, and pull up bars.

  The Infinity Rig is designed to cater to needs of Crossfitters, Power Lifters, Military, Functional Fitness, and Body Weight styles of training. We have partnered a brand new Concept 2 Rower and Bumper Plates with the Rig to create a complete Functional Fitness set up!
