• Group Exercise Studio

  

  2400 sq. ft. Group Exercise Room. Over 40 classes per week are held in this room, including Yoga, Pilates, Spinning, Step, Kickboxing, and Enhanced Fitness. Want a copy of the complete schedule? Click on the Schedules tab to print a copy.

• Cardio Fitness Equipment

  

  Our cardiovascular equipment includes 16 Precor treadmills,  Precor Cross Trainers, 7 Cybex Arc Trainers, 4 Stairmaster Stepmills, 2 Nu Steps, 6 Recumbent bikes, 3 Upright bikes, row machine, Upperbody Ergometer and more.

   

• Child Watch

  

   The A.C. Lewis Child Watch provides a fun, safe, and structured environment for your child while you exercise. Our experienced and dedicated staff interact with your child following a schedule of facilitated activities. These activities include arts & crafts, singing, dancing, playing, reading, story time, and other fun and interesting activities. This service is included in your membership. Parents must remain in the YMCA facility while using this service.

  Ages: six weeks to 12 years

  Hours of Operation:

  M - F (mornings): 8:30am - 11:00am
  M - Th (evenings): 4:15pm - 8:30pm
  Sat.: 8:30am - 11:00am

• Strength Training Room

  

  The A.C. Lewis YMCA offers a large strength training area complete with a circuit of Cybex strength machines, dumbbells, barbells, Hammer strength equipment, stretching area (medicine balls, bosu, stability balls), mirrors, and machines to focus on every area of the body.

• Gravity Well Training Room

  Gravity Training Room

   

  Gravity machines are limited to the first 10 participants. Please sign up at the Gravity Well 30 minutes before class begins. We ask that you observe a Gravity class before participating in one of our GTS classes.

• Gymnasium

   

  

  The A.C. Lewis Gymnasium offers 10,000 square feet of space for a variety of programs and activities. Activities include group exercise classes, basketball, volleyball, and daycamp games. This area provides fun for the whole family.

• Indoor Heated Pool

   

  

  This 25 yard indoor pool  ranges from 3 to 9 feet in depth and features four lanes.

  It has steps, a ladder and a handicap lift.  

   

• Outdoor Heated Pool with Sundeck

   

  

  6 lane, 25 yard lap pool. 4 feet deep all around. Ladders and handicapped pool lift entry. Pool open all year!

   

• Outdoor Track

   

  

  This 1/3 mile asphalt outdoor track is located behind the A.C. Lewis facility. Access to the track is through the gymnasium.  

• Showers & Locker Rooms

   

  Locker rooms and showers are provided for members. Amenities include lockers for daily use, showers, sauna, steam room and whirlpool. Youth locker rooms are available for those under the age of 18.

• Computer Lab

  
  Thanks to the generosity of BP we now have a 8 station lap top computers complete with Wi-Fi internet service.

• Youth and Family Fitness Center

  

  The Youth and Family Fitness Center is an area that parents and children can work out together or Mom and Dad can now get their workout in the same area while watching their kids have fun.  This area offers gaming activities, fitness equipment, and a computer lab.  The Youth & Family Fitness Center is available to MEMBERS ages 7 years and up.  For the gaming activities parents must sign their kids into this area.  Parents who want their children to receive the added benefits of the fitness equipment and area, they must be present with their children if they are between the ages of 7 and 9.   Youth between the ages of 10 and 14 can be signed in to the fitness area to be led by one of our staff members.  All kids using the fitness equipment must go through a training session with one of our fitness staff.   Children must be on the family membership to use this area.
